Naharlagun, April 06: All types of vehicular movement has been temporarily stopped/susoended from 9pm of 6th April to 5am of 7 April through the Barapani bridge, Naharlagun.
In an order (Traffic regulation) issued by Capital Complex DC Komkar Dulom for replacement of expansion joint and correction of deflection of the in Boroani Bridge in Naharlagun township and most of work has been done. But need day for giving final touch of the work carried during these days. The order said.
The Executive Engineer, Naharlagun Highway Division. PWD AP Nirjuli has informed that the replacement of bearing and expansion joint including curing has been completed on 7th April 2021 from 5 AM. He requested to divert the traffic completely for tonight only.
Traffic will be completely closed for all type of vehicles from 9 PM to 5 AM (Night Hours) on 6th April. During the said period all vehicles movement from Itanagar to Naharlagun and vice versa shall be diverted via Yupia/Doimukh road. Traffic will be opened for all type of vehicles from 5 AM on 7th April. DC informed.
