ANSU declared 12 hours capital complex band on December 27 to press 13 point charter of demand

ITANAGAR, Dec 23 : The All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) on Friday has announced a 12-hour capital complex bandh on 27 December to press its thirteen points charter of demands regarding Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commissioner (APPSC) paper leakage issues.

Addressing media persons here at APC, Vice president ANSU Rahim Yangfo said that ANSU are not satisfied with the delay tactics played by the state government in regards to the demands of ANSU and aggrieved candidates.

State government on 21 December last had took a decision to initiate fast paced departmental enquiry against government servants involved in APPSC paper leakage case, to frame rules for implementation of Whistle-Blower Act and grievance cell of the APPSC to be overhauled and strengthened, he said team ANSU is not at all satisfy with the state government’s lackadaisical attitude towards the demands of ANSU in the greater interest.

“Why state government take up only one or two points of demands, they should take the entire demands into toto,” said Yangfo. Adding they would not keep mum on the issue which is for the interest of thousands of aggrieved candidates. 

Earlier, in connection with the cash for job scam ANSU has already submitted a memorandum and carried out a referendum mass rally to redress the 13 points demands which included immediate arrest and investigation against Chairman, Nipo Nabam, Secretary, Jayanta Kumar Ray, declaring entire exams null and void wherever paper leakage has taken place and termination of state government officials involved etc.
