KULA LAMPUR, Dec 23: Geto Sora proved it again in the overseas badminton championship beating Jaryll Teh of Malaysia’s seed no 2 player in finals by 21-5, 21-16 in straight sets under 9 age category, during the Top Arena Junior International Badminton Championship held here today.
Geto has enthralled the hundreds of spectators during the final matches and it is indeed a great achievement for young shuttler of the state.
Arunachal State Badminton Association (ASBA) Secretary General Bamang Tago congratulated Geto and felt proud to see his consistent performance in the overseas tournament.
“ASBA have many more Soras who can excel in international stage. Only the call of hour is timely and collectively support from the government and parents in days to come,” Tago added.
