ITANAGAR, Jun 18: 𝐀𝐫𝐮n𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐀𝐏𝐘𝐂) staged protest and 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐏rime 𝐌minister 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐢, 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐡 by opposing the Agnipath scheme here today at Congress Bhawang, Itanagar.
On the occasion Youth Congress president Tarh Johny claimed that BJP Government is trying to make fool to youths of Country launching the Agniptath scheme and BJP government is leading the youths of nation in wrong path and they will spoil the life of youth because in this scheme there is no any future of youth, there is no provision for rank , no promotion system and no permanent system , BJP is just trying hiring the youth for only four years and after completion of four years of their service what will do rest life? He questioned.
After getting gun and other training in their 4 years service period they will be jobless and compel to join terrorist if they don’t find permanent job and service. He said.
This scheme can create security problems in the nation as well as the state because large numbers of gun training jobless youth will be there.
The government is saying that after 4 years, the youth will have a chance to go to another job, but the facts are telling something else. At present, more than 55 thousand highly skilled Jawans retire from the three services. After retirement only 1 or 2 percent are being reinstated in another job. In these circumstances, what is the guarantee that Agneeveer will be recruited for another Job? He asked.
It takes 7 to 8 years for a better soldier to be ready in the army, in such a situation, if the Agniveer is given only 6 months of training, then how will they become a competent soldier. There is no provision of pension etc. in this scheme. Overall, this plan has several flaws. This is the reason why students and youths across the country are angry against Agneepath.
Demonstrations are taking place everywhere. The youth who are preparing to join the army for years are seeing their future bleak
He also alleged that the BJP government launched this scheme to divert their Assurance or election manifesto where they were assured they will give lakhs of jobs opportunity to youths of Country every year. Because lakhs of youth were submitted job application in various department including defence.
But the Narendra Modi led BJP government failed to give jobs to the youths of the country.
So he advised the youth to avoid becoming fools and stay away from the scheme. If the recruitment system says like that then it seems that the youth power is going in the wrong direction and national security may be at risk. He claimed.
The central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi should without any delay change the policy of recruitment so that the youths can avail the opportunity in better way and not by befooling and misguiding way. Johny added.
