Arunachal’s Amini Laa wins gold, Papung Tajo wins bronze

NAHARLAGUN, Jul 29: In an impressive display of skill and determination, Amini Laa of Arunachal Pradesh emerged victorious, winning a gold medal in the Cadet Girls Individual Poomsae category at the 6th National Cadet Kyorugi & Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2023. The championship, held at the KD Singh Babu Indoor Stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, has been organized by the Taekwondo Federation of India and generously sponsored by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of India.

Adding to the country’s tally of achievements, Papung Tajo secured bronze medal in the Cadet Kyorugi Girls under-53 kg category, showcasing her remarkable talent and determination in the martial art.

Arunachal Taekwondo Association (ATA) general secretary Likha Robin has extended warm congratulations to all the participants and winners of the 6th National Cadet Kyorugi & Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2023.

With enthusiasm and dedication on display at the KD Singh Babu Indoor Stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, the athletes showcased their exceptional skills.

The three-day event, which commenced on July 28, 2023, has witnessed fierce competition from talented taekwondo athletes across the nation, reflecting the growing interest and dedication towards the sport.
