BJP chief JP Nadda formally welcomes Techi Kaso to BJP

Nipjyoti Kalita || Naharlagun, Aug 25: BJP National President JP Nadda formally welcomed Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso to Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday at party headquarters in Delhi.

Kaso was accompanied by ZPCs, ZPMs, IMC Corporators and others who joined along with Kaso.

Kaso, the lone JD(U) MLA from Arunachal Pradesh joined the ruling BJP on Wednesday.

The team led by Techi Kaso met the ruling party high command at New Delhi.

The National BJP president JP Nadda welcomed the JD(U) MLA to BJP fold in presence of Arunachal Pradesh BJP President Biyuram Wahge, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, State GS & Namsai MLA Chow Zingnu Namchoom & Doimukh MLA Tana Hali, Papum Pare BJP president Techi Sony and others.

Along with MLA Kaso several JD(U) ZPCs, ZPMs, IMC Corporators and GPMs, who also joined the ruling party, were welcomed to the Bharatiya Janata party by Nadda.

On Wednesday, in a major boost to the rulling BJP in state, the lone JD(U) MLA in Arunachal Pradesh from state capital and one of the strongest face of the JD(U) Techi Kaso left the JD(U) and joined BJP along with several elected PRI leaders and municipal Corporaters. 

Kaso is the MLA from 13th Itanagar Assembly Constituency. He was elected as the JD (U) in the last Assembly election in 2019 with six others and formed the 2nd largest political party in Arunachal Pradesh legislative assembly.

However, in December 2020, 6 JD(U) MLAs joined BJP in Arunachal Pradesh. The JD(U) legislators who quit and joined the saffron party were Hayeng Mangfi, Jikke Tako, Dongru Siongju, Talem Taboh, Kanggong Taku and Dorjee Wangdi Kharma.

As per information when the alliance of JD(U) with BJP at national level has went on dissolved when the alliance of JD(U) with BJP was dissociated in Bihar the faith of the lone MLA in state was also in dilemma as the lone MLA who is one of the strongest political leader of state who hold good relationship among all the community of state may has finally decided to join the double engine party BJP.
