ITANAGAR, JAN 16 : The Camdir welfare society (CWS) has deeply condoled the untimely demise of Tok Topu its member and social workers of the Sangupota area in particular and Papum Poma area of Papum Pare district in general.
In a condolence message, the CWS said that “ Late Tok Topu S/O of Late Tok Tada was a social workers are the area and was twice Anchal Samity Member (ASM) of Habia Panchayat and presently serving as Head goan Burah of Mebiaso village in Sangdupota circle of Papum Pare district”. The CWS said.
Late Topu was a great orator and vast knowledge of traditional value and customary law of the land and has been associated in several social welfare activities of the area and community. The CWS said.
He left behind 5 sons and 9 daughters and dozens of grandsons.
He passed away at the age of 75 and has a lot of experience in dealing with social welfare activities and local issue of the area. He Was popularly among the locality for his knowledge and experience.
The camdir welfare society deeply condole the demise and pray almighty for eternal peace of departed soul in heavenly abode. The CWS in a condolence message to his son the present ZPM Tok Hina of Sandgduta has offered heartfelt condolences.
