ITANAGAR, JUNE 24 ; The team of Capital police from Itanagar police station has been able to recover the box containing the bones and ribs of a dead infant in the nearby jungle on Itanagar-Hollongi road of NH-415 today.
Itanagar Police station OC Inspector Phasang Simi informed that a team of police from Itanagar police station was constituted after a viral video of a trunk found on Itanagar-Hollongi road of NH-415 where a suspected dead body was found. OC said.
The team made a search operation at Hollongi Road and a search operation was carried out right from the dumping ground and after a vigorous search box was found inside the road. While opening it found only bones and ribs. Mostly it might have occurred 4 to 5 months back and the child might have just borned and died. The aluminum trunk (box) seized from the spot. Simi said.
