Case registered against Kimin fiasco, investigation began

ITANAGAR, JULY 4 ; A case has been registered at Kimin Police station of Papum Pare district in connection with the incident related with pasting of names of Arunachal Pradesh in Kimin sub division headquarter. Informed DGP R P Upadhyaya.

DGP informed that one case has been registered at Kimin police station and investigation has been launched. As of now a case has been registered based on the complaint of the All Kimin Youth welfare association (AKYWA) on Saturday vide Kimin Police station case no-11/21, U/S 489/167/34 IPC and investigation has been launched by Kimin police. DGP said..

Any complaints received in any place in connection with Kimin related incidents will be clubbed with the said FIR and all the complaints are being clubbed with the same FIR of KImin PS and accordingly the investigation will be done. DGP added.

Papum Pare SP Dr. Neelam Nega is supervising and investigation will be taken up under his supervision. DGP further said.

Meanwhile, Papum Pare SP Dr. Neelam Nega when contacted informed that 4 FIRs received at Kimin PS so far and one case registered based on 1 FIR, vide Kimin PS Case No 11/21, U/S 489/167/34 IPC. Investigation has been started by Kimin Police. He said.

Rest of the FIRs would be clubbed with this case as per the requirement. SP Dr, Nega added.

It is to mention that the four FIRs has been received so far at Kimin police station after Kimin incident which took place on June 17 in connection with inauguration of Kimin-Potin 20 KM road constructed by BRO by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in presence of Union Minister and Arunachal West MP KIren Rijiju, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, CDS, local MLA Tana Hali Tara and several other officers and officials of Assam and Arunachal government at Kimin in Papum Pare district.

As per information the four FIR has been received at Kimin PS from All Kimin Youth welfare association (AKYWA), four political party leader of APCC, JDU, JDS, PPA, Arunachal border students union (ABSU) and Save Arunachal youth association (SAYA). FIR has also been received at Itanagar PS by All Arunachal Pradesh students union (APSU).
