DCC/CCC Presidents Meeting in Itanagar Addresses Concerns Over Manipur Incident

A meeting of DCC/CCC Presidents was held today at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan in Itanagar, chaired by Nabam Tuki, President of the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), and attended by Lombo Tayeng, CLP Leader, and all PCC office bearers. The meeting commenced with a welcome speech by Rajen Nani, Vice-President of APCC, followed by the felicitation and distribution of Appointment Letters to the elected Presidents of District Congress Committee and City Congress Committee, as approved by the All India Congress Committee.

During their speeches, Nabam Tuki, President of APCC, and Lombo Tayeng, CLP Leader, congratulated the newly elected DCC Presidents and CCC President of the Itanagar Capital Region. They appealed to them to work tirelessly for the greater interests of the INC party and strengthen the party’s presence in the state.

The meeting expressed deep concern over the escalating violence and the current atmosphere prevailing in Manipur, which has resulted in significant loss of lives and properties. The APCC appealed to the people of Manipur to maintain peace and harmony and offered condolences to the families of those affected by the violence. They also appealed to the Manipur Government and Union governments to take swift and decisive action to ensure the safety and security of the people, as well as prevent further damage and loss of life.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Gyamar Tana, General Secretary (Adorn) of APCC, expressing gratitude for the productive discussions and highlighting the importance of unity and collective efforts in overcoming challenges faced by the party.
