DGP unveils 4 different utilitarian assets of Lower Subansiri district

ZIRO, Jul 08: Newly-appointed Director General of Police (DGP) of Arunachal Pradesh, Anand Mohan, IPS, today paid his maiden visit to Ziro in Lower Subansiri district.

During his visit, the DGP inaugurated 4 different utilitarian assets of the district, which have been developed in the last one year and praised the efforts.

The 4 utilitarian assets include renovated NGO Mess for drivers and PSOs of officers and VVIPs, Library-cum-computer centre for wards of police personnel, located in the SP office, Wet canteen for the SP office staff managed by spouse of the police staff itself and renovated and well-equipped conference hall at the SP office in Ziro.

The DGP also interacted with the district police officers and staff members at the newly-inaugurated conference hall.

He emphasised on moral ethics and duties of police officers. 

“The DGP encouraged the police officers to be accessible and grounded. He also focused on execution of duties gently but with firmness and to value the importance of uniform. He directed the officers to initiate more community outreach programs in the days to come,” Lower Subansiri Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr. Sachin Kr. Singhal informed.

Later, the DGP also visited the Ziro Police Station and the Women Police Station (WPS) Ziro and emphasized on the importance of cleanliness and hygiene.

His visit and his words of wisdom have immensely boosted the morale of the district police, the SP said.

“His presence in the district has uplifted the motivation of the police officers and encouraged us to work efficiently,” the SP said.

The DGP’s day-long visit ended with some energising sightseeing at Seeh lake and Shivlinga at Kardo.“The entire district team is highly grateful to the DGP’s thoughtfulness and motivational words,” the SP further said.
