ITANAGAR, Jul 08: The Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) in support of Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) hold a protest rally from Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan to Tennis court IG Park In solidarity with nationwide protests against the Court’s verdict in the Rahul Gandhi defamation case.
Seeking justice for Rahul Gandhi whose plea for stay order was dismissed by the Gujarat High Court in a case related to the defamation case, APYC president Tarh Jhony said entire citizens of the nation are disappointed with the outcome of the court’s verdict.
The BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is conspiring to suppress the voice of the poor, needy and downtrodden by silencing Rahul Gandhi.
“Rahul is a fearless leader who always fights for the truth and justice of farmers and corruption but PM Modi’s government fails to understand him,” Jhony.
Instead of playing divide & rule policy, the BJP government at the centre should listen to the grievances of the citizens of the nation for which Rahul is raising voice time and again. he added.
The BJP government is afraid of Rahul Gandhi, therefore they are conspiring against him to restrict him from meeting poor citizens of the nation, claimed APYC.
In the meantime, APYC and APCC appealed to the citizens of the state to support the congress to get rid of dictatorial government.
APCC Secretary Yumlam Yachung said that India is a democracy country and everyone has right of freedom to rise his or her voice and Rahul Gandhi is rising the issued are very genuine and are in the greater interest of common people and his voice should be listen. He said.
We are always with Rahul Gandhi and the ruling BJP at centre should understand and the next election is very near the people are witnessing what are happening with a lesson for everyone. Added Secretary APCC Achung.
APCC General Secretary Gyamar Tana in his address said that even if the ruling party is trying to suppress the popular voice of Rahul Gandhi in any way but they will never success and the people of country are witnessing what is happening and they will give reply in 2024.
