Itanagar, June 21: In commemoration of the International Day of Yoga, the Central Bureau of Communication, Regional Office Itanagar, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, along with its four field units across Arunachal Pradesh, organized a Mini Integrated Outreach and Communication Programme today.
The Regional Office Itanagar took the initiative to conduct the programme at Green Mount School, Itanagar. The event included a yoga session for the participants, aimed at promoting the practice of yoga and its numerous health benefits. Participants were guided through various yoga asanas and breathing exercises, fostering physical and mental well-being.
In addition to the yoga session, a theme-based essay writing competition was also organized among the students as part of the outreach programme. This initiative aimed to encourage young minds to express their thoughts on the significance of yoga and its impact on individuals and society.
Simultaneously, the four Field Units under the Regional Office Itanagar, namely Tawang, Bomdila, Tezu, and Aalo, also conducted their respective Mini Integrated Outreach and Communication programmes. These units ensured that the celebrations reached different parts of Arunachal Pradesh, spreading awareness about yoga and its holistic benefits.
