ITANAGAR, JUNE 20 ; The family members of Everester Tapi Mra and his assistant Niku Dao on Tuesday has sought final decision on forthcoming search operation of missing everester Tapi Mra and his assistant Niku Dao.
In a representation submitted to Chief secretary the Sister of Everester Tapi Mra, Yatok Mra Nilo said that the second consecutive meeting regarding the search operation of missing Everester Tapi Mra and his assistant Niku Dao was held on 18th May 2023 at Civil secretariat under the chairmanship of chief secretary and every points were discussed thoroughly and was agreed to provide all the necessities for the search operation and promise to provide us the financial status for forthcoming search operation. She said.
It was decided to take up the matter within a week but no action has been taken up so far and fail to provide the financial status for the search operation. Even after one month of time. The everester sister said.
It is a fact that search operation on the high altitude area is seasonal and time bond operation and in Western Himalaya, the search operation in mountainous region is operational from month of July to September of every year. She observed.
We the family members of missing Everester Tapi Mra are in a dilemma that whether the government will provide fund for next search operation or not. She sought final decision or result by June 25th. The family member added.
