Mama Natung launched the Tokyo Olympic #Cheer 4 India campaign

ITANAGAR, JULY 7 ; The sports & Youths Affairs Minister Mama Natung has today launched the Tokyo Olympic # Cheer 4 India campaign and motivated the youths to opt sports discipline and maintain fitness to remain fit and fine with a healthy body and sound mind.

Natung today early morning flagged off a marathon race which has been participated by eminent personalities from the sports fraternity of state along with top officials of the Department of Sports & Youths Affairs and Sports Authority of Arunachal Pradesh. The marathon race which started at Akashdeep complex and culminated at IG Park and the Minister has himself participated in the race from first to last.

Briefing the participants, Sports Minister Mama Natung said that this is a campaign and it will garner the support for the athletes representing India in Tokyo Olympics. The Tokyo Olympic is scheduled to be held from July 23rd to August 8 at Tokyo in Japan. He said.

“ Our motto is to motivate out youths and younger generation to opt for games and sports and also join sports and maintain physical fitness to remain fit and fine with a healthy body and sound mind” Natung said adding that whoever are taking part in the Tokyo Olympic need blessing and the campaign which we have started here in Itanagar will go a long way to inspire other to do so and hope our players do well there and come back with lots of medals and appreciation from across the world.
