ITANAGAR, Apr 13 : On the occasion of 42nd Sthapna Diwas, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Land Management Nakap Nalo, on Wednesday urged people to focus on fighting against Covid – 19 by taking all precautions and being aware of the vaccination.
Covid – 19 in the state is under control not banish from top to bottom, he said, while gracing the covid vaccination awareness camp which was organised by BJP state unit of Kishan Morcha here at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Chimpu.
“We have to focus on fighting Covid-19 by taking all possible precautions following the protocols of covid- 19 and at the same time, do take vaccination to boost immunity,” he said.
State government under the leadership of CM Pema Khandu is taking every possible stair to protect the people from dreaded virus, therefore to strength the fight against Covid – 19, it is also equally important for the public to support the state government and department of health to eliminate the virus, he added.
Appreciating the health care workers, he said, the state government reaffirms the gratitude and appreciation to all those health care workers who work day and night to keep the populace of the state in safe hands.
BJP VP Tarh Tarak, Kishan Morcha President Dongoli LIbang, Capital DMO Dr. Mandip Perme, WHO representative Dr. A.P Choudary Paul also spoke on the occasion.
Capital DC Talo Potom graced the occasion as guest of honour.
Later DC & DMO interacted with the health care workers and motivated them to work with renewed zeal and enthusiasm and lauded their sincere and hard work in covid management and vaccination in the capital complex.
Few people were vaccinated on the occasion.
