Naharlagun, June 4: One interstate drug supplier arrested by joint team of ADS Changlang and Assam Police.
The joint team of Anti-Drug Squad (ADS) Changlang and Assam Police conducted a raid in Margherita (Assam) and one interstate drug supplier identified as Amorendo Gogoi (24) resident of Makum Pothar, Margherita (Assam) has been arrested from Margherita in connection with Changlang PS C/No. 18/2022 U/S 21(a)/27A NDPS Act and recovered suspected contraband substances heroin approx 14.37 gm from his possession.
Earlier, Changlang ADS arrested 4 drug peddlers/consumers in the same case from Changlang town during a series of raids on 28-29th May 2022 and based on their disclosure the joint team of ADS Changlang and Assam Police had conducted raid in Margherita on 3th June 2022.
The ADS Changlang team was led by Insp C Yanchang and his team under supervision of SP Changlang.
