YUPIA, A coordination meeting with the Head of Departments of Papum Pare District was held on 10th January 2022 at the conference hall of DC Yupia. The meeting chaired by the outgoing Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare District Pige Ligu and attended by new DC Minga Sherpa, IAS, Head of Departments and administrative officers of the district reviewed the progress of various project schemes in the district. Several Head of Departments presented their project implementation and plan reports. The HoDs who presented reports include the DAO, DHO, DD Textiles, Handloom, Handicrafts and Sericulture, EE Power, DDI, TDO, DAH & VO, DDSE, AMDO, DACO, DDMO, EE UD&H, Principal ITI, DTO (TPT), DTO (Tour), EE PHE Sandoputa, DFDO and DFCSO Yupia.
The outgoing DC Shri Pige Ligu in his address to the HODs termed his second posting at Yupia as the best in his entire tenure as DC in the districts as he got the best of officers and officials with high degrees of team spirit and work culture. He calls upon the HODs and officers of Papum Pare to show the same spirit with the new DC as they have had with him during his two and half years stint at Yupia. He reminded the officers present that post successive bifurcation and creation of districts, Papum Pare now remains the largest and most populous district of the state. Thus call upon the HODs to shoulder their responsibilities in a challenging and mission mode. To him Papum Pare has remained his training ground, karam and jaanam bhoomi, and will settle down and die in the district. Meanwhile, he urged the HODs, Officers and officials to overlook the wrongs if done advertent or inadvertent.
The new DC Shri Minga Sherpa IAS appreciated the administrative caliber of the outgoing DC under whose tenure has developed an exemplary team spirit among the officers of the district, assured to follow his footsteps and urged HODs and officers to continue with the same spirit and extend support to the district administration.
Earlier Tabang Bodung ADC (HQ) extended the welcome address to the gathering and the meeting ended with vote of thanks by Dolma Wangjom EAC (HQ).
Later the outgoing DC Pige Ligu was bade with Farewell Party hosted by the District Administration Yupia and attended by the New DC, HODs, officers and officials of DC office Yupia.
