Plying of heavy vehicles over two Bailey bridges prohibited till April 22

ITANAGAR, APRIL 3 : The west Kameng district administration  on Saturday April 2nd has prohibited the movement of all types of heavy vehicles on two nos of bailey bridge towards PMGSY Road Nagmandir BRTF Road to Buragaon from 2nd April, 2022 to 22nd April, 2022. 

In an executive order, the executive magistrate of Jamiri circle Lempi Rallen said that 

As per intimation of RWD, Executive Engineer,  Singchung Division that the 02 (Two) Nos. Bailey bridge of 24 mtr span has been completed in all respect and commissioned during January, 2021 on Road from Jamiri (Nagmandir BRTF Road) to Buragaon at Ch.9.360 km. and Ch. 10.350 km. 

As per intimation 18 Nos. of plates on top of railing of Bridge at Ch.9.360 Km. and 108 Nos, hooks (Nut & Bolts) and 6 Nos. of plate on top of railing of Bridge at Ch. 10.35 Km were stolen by some miscreants and weakened the duo bridges for heavy vehicular movement. The order said.  

In order to facilitate and expedite the restoration/strengthening work, it is felt expedient to restrict the plying of heavy vehicular movement through the said Bridges from 2nd of April, 2022 to 22nd of April, 2022.
