Some individuals in name of APPSC paper leak trying to derail devp activities in State: Pema Khandu

ITANAGAR, May 21: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today said the 13-point demands placed by the Pan Arunachal Pradesh Joint Steering Committee (PAJSC) in connection with the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) paper leak case have almost been resolved.

“But some individuals in the name of the APPSC paper leakage case are trying to derail the development activities in the State which is unfortunate. The State government has tackled the matter with an iron hand,” CM Khandu said while speaking at the executive committee meeting of the State BJP in the city today.

The Chief Minister while congratulating the State BJP team, led by Biyuram Wahge for being the best performing state in terms of organization activities in the State, highlighted various programmes and policies and its achievements in the State.

He said 9 years’ achievements of the Modi Govt. and 7 years of the State government should reach up to the grass-roots level.

While speaking on the occasion, Union Minister for Earth Sciences Kiren Rijiju highlighted the achievement of the Centre and the State government and gave his marg darshan to the karyakartas.

He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for marg darshan.

He appreciated Chief Minister Khandu and his team for working for the all-round development of the State. He said Arunachal Pradesh has made significant contributions towards nation building.  He said 9 years’ achievement of the Modi government and 7 years’ achievement of the Pema Khandu government should be known to the people of the grassroots level in the State through the BJP karyakartas. 

In his inaugural address and closing remarks, State BJP president Biyuram Wahge appreciated Chief Minister Pema Khandu and MPs for their full support to strengthen the party in the State.

Arunachal Pradesh is among top ten states in the country in terms of organizational activities for it, the credit goes to all the karyakartas who tirelessly work for the party, the State BJP president said.

Wahge also said he is proud of CM Khandu for his strong support towards the party, which will boost up the morale of the party karyakartas in the State. He said the government and the party are working in a strong coordination and working for the greater interest of the people of Arunachal Pradesh. The State BJP president urged all the ministers and MLAs to support each and every programme of the BJP at the grassroots level to strengthen the party organization in the State.     

State BJP president moved the thanks-giving resolution on the 9 years completion of the Modi-led government at the Centre and 7 years completion of Khandu-led government in the State and the resolution was passed unanimously by a voice vote.

MP Tapir Gao appreciated the constitution of the nine years and seven years committee of the Modi Govt at the Centre and Pema Khandu Govt. in the State. He said there are thousands of success stories of various programmes and their achievements which need to be carried forward at the grass-roots level through the karyakartas. He stressed on strengthening the party organization in the State.

Nalong Mize, State general secretary and State convener, BSA committee, presented the status report of the Booth Shashaktikaran Abhiyan of the Arunachal Pradesh BJP.

MLA Zignu Namchoom, State general secretary and State convenor, 9 years celebration committee presented a report on the celebration of the 9 years of the Modi government. He highlighted all the status reports and the initiatives taken by the party and the roadmap of the programme.

Ananta Narayan Mishra, Sangathan Mantri highlighted in detail the organizational setup in the State. He also highlighted various programmes and policies of the party.

He stressed on the maintenance of the disciplines in the party.

He announced various future programmes and policies of the BJP. While sharing his happiness at the functioning of the Arunachal Pradesh BJP which has been placed among top 10 best state organizations in the country, he appreciated the BJP team of Arunachal Pradesh and the karyakartas for their efforts.   

BJP national general secretary and Arunachal Pradesh in-charge, MP Dilip Saikia said, “We feel proud to be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu, who are always working hard for the people. Credit goes to the thousands of karyakartas for their support.”

He highlighted in detail through a power-point presentation on the roadmap of nine years of Modi Govt. in the State. He said a one month Maha Jan Samprak campaign will be started from May 30 to June 30, 2023 all over the country.

Prime Minister Modi will launch the Maha Jan Sampark Campaign on May 30 from New Delhi. He said the BJP party is neither rightist nor leftist, it is nationalist.

Taring Tiri, State secretary of the BJP, spoke on the observance of the condolences with special mention of late CT Mein, former minister and elder brother of Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein. 

While highlighting the biography of late CT Mein, he said during his long political career, he served as minister, parliamentary secretary in different capacities. He also served as the protem speaker of the State Assembly on several occasions.

His untimely demise is a great loss for the people of the State. Two-minute silence was observed to pray for peace to the departed soul.

Several Cabinet ministers, MLAs, party leaders, executive members, district presidents and others were present at the meeting and shared their views and suggestions and presented reports of various ongoing programmes and central sponsored schemes.

The day-long programme began with flag-hoisting, deep prajwalan and chanting of Vande Mataram followed by the inaugural address by Capital party leader Nalong Mize and felicitation of guests and dignitaries and invitees and special invitees.

Status report of the booth Shashaktikaran Abhiyan of the party in the State, celebration of the 9 years of Modi government and strengthening of the party activities in the State were discussed.

Chief Minister Khandu, Union Minister Rijiju, Arunachal Pradesh BJP in-charge MP Dilip Saikia, Arunachal East MP Gao, State BJP president and Pakke Kessang MLA Biyuram Wahge, general secretary (organization) Ananta Narayan Mishra, general secretary and State convenor of 9 years celebration committee and Namsai MLA CZ Namchoom, general secretary and convenor BSA Nalong Mize, secretary Taring Tiri addressed the executive session.

A few resolutions were adopted on the occasion.

Several current affairs issues were discussed, said party spokesperson Dominic Tadar before the media.

Tadar briefed about the meeting and discussions of the party leaders.He informed that the karyakartas were advised to prepare for the upcoming election, creation of awareness at the grassroots level of hundreds of CSS and State-sponsored schemes for the welfare of people and development of their areas, proper use of social media and work for strengthening of the party from the booth level.
