Assam Rifles org Security Meet with Trade Union of Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh on 21 May 2023.
The meeting was org with an aim to sensitise the town’s market committe and traders/ entrepreneurs incl wine shops, hardware & petrol pump owners with the prevailing security situation in present environment and also to enhance the co-operation & synergy between Assam Rifles and local populace.
The meeting provided a free platform to discuss various issues like increase of extortion activities and demands from various factions. The traders also discussed the requirements/ assistance needed from Assam Rifles for upliftment of trade in particular and area development in general. The meeting was attended by 31 traders and market committee members including three female entrepreneurs from of Changlang town.
The market President, committee members, traders & entrepreneurs appreciated the effort undertaken by the Assam Rifles and requested to organise more such events at frequent interval.
