Naharlagun, Oct 26: An unidentified body has been found at Banderdewa in the early morning of Wednesday.
The capital police official sources informed that on 25 October at around 10 am W/FIR had been received from Prabhat Saikia S/o Lt. Shiva Saikia of Banderdewa to the effect that on the early morning at around 0900 AM the Chowkidar of M/S MT enterprise shop informed him that one unknown dead body has been found laying near the backside of their shop.
According to the sources receipt of the same self along with PS ready party left for PO and examined the Complainant and witnesses and found that one un- identified male body age approx 41 years complexion – black, hair black, body built – thin, height – 5 feet approx, wearing blue check shirt and black half pant laying near back side of shop and no one knows about the deceased and his whereabouts. The deceased body was found lying near M/S MT enterprise, accordingly an inquest was done and information conveyed to Executive magistrate cum CO Banderdewa Ritu Tawe and SDPO NLG.
Later the deceased body has been taken to RK Mission mortuary house for the mandatory period of 72 hours for identification of the deceased. Hence Vide BDW/PS UD Case No. 03/2022 u/s 174 CrPc has been regd and endorsed to SI S.K Jha for an investigation. The sources added.
