ITANAGAR, Apr 16: In a road accident one Youth died this morning around 7.30 am the accident took place in Village, Nirjuli near Alphabet School.
The deceased was identified as Licha Lej of 25 years old Son of Licha Teri (Kaya) residence of Nirjuli P sector, who was riding a Motorcycle R15 bearing Registration No-AR 02A 2701 on his way to Doimukh , the incident happen after collided with a tempo.
The legal formalities are being done, after conducting post mortem the body has been handed over to relatives for conducting last rites.
The tempo driver has been arrested and kept under Custody and Both the vehicles have also been seized by police, Informed Naharlagun SDPO Dekio Gumja.
NIrjuli OC Incharge Surendra Singh said that a case has been registered vide Nirjuli PS Case No-31/22 u/s-279, 304 (A) IPC and further investigation is being done, however MVI inspection of the accident vehicle will be done.
