Commissioner Edu inspects two Govt. School to take stock of facilities

ZIRO, The Commissioner Education Padmini Singla, accompanied by the DDSE Lower Lower Subansiri District Tabia Chobin, officers, officials and other concerned functionaries inspected two Govt. educational institutions to take stock of infrastructure facilities here Friday.

The commissioner Education  inspected Government Higher Secondary School Hija, Government UPS LBS and ICDS office Located at Parie Amie, Hapoli and interacted with the functionaries and updated the status and activities. 

She asked the concerned authorities to work with zeal and dedication and put in every effort for imparting quality education to the students in this Covid-19 period and directed all the teaching fraternities for binding the students together through online classes which is the only way left for them to continue their studies.

She also underlined the importance of both teachers and students for her in building academic excellence and producing talents.

Later, the commissioner interacted with teaching staff of two schools and heard the problems faced by teachers, teaching students through online classes.

An interaction programme was also attended by the Heads of institutions along with BEOs of Ziro-I and District Programme Coordinator ISSE Nangram Kayum, Habung Tadii & Pill Tayam Coordinator.

The teachers and Headmaster Incharge Padi Payeng, Principal  Joram Budh of both the institutions of the district discussed various issues with her. The Commissioner Education noted down all the problems faced by the authorities.

Speaking on the visit, the DDSE Chobin expounded the problems of the concerned schools and emphasised on the need of creating resources through adopting the give back Mission mood from Alumni without depending for everything on the government.

He further apprised Commissioner Education that upto his capacity he has been paying visit to the various schools and to every nook and corner of Lower Subansiri and the condition of the infrastructure of those schools has been lying worst. 

It is even awkward for him to visit these schools for the second time without funds in his hand in order to provide aid for maintenance of the dilapidated condition of the schools he added.
