ITANAGAR, MARCH 3 : The commuters and denizens of capital complex has appeal the traffic management authority and Itanagar Capital complex traffic police to streamline the parking of vehicles in front of political party and government officers in the entire capital complex.
The locals and commuters using the national Highway NH-415 in the entire capital complex specially in Itanagar city allege that the NH-415 is the only main road in the city and due to haphazard parking in front of the political party and government offices create traffic chaos and even have to face traffic jam which is not a healthy sign of traffic management. It is also a matter of great concern that the vehicle owners who visit these office need to understand and properly park their vehicle so that no other people face problem. Even though some of the offices have parking facility but the visitors does not use the sense of parking their vehicle and dare to give proper and sufficient space for smooth flow of traffic movement is also a matter of fact is a matter of concern among the civilized citizens.
The denizen express the happiness and lauded the state government under the able leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, Home Minister Bamang Felix the for creating of separate DiG for Capital complex with the three post of Superintendent of Police (SP) one each for Itanagar, Naharlagun and one specially for traffic but it hardly matter and the traffic situation in the entire capital complex has hardly changes.
Due to construction of separate bypass road in Papunallah, Railway bridge connecting Lekhi with NH-415, Arch bridge connecting TAH-NH-415 and completion of two bridge one at Damsite, Polo Colony, Chandanagar-F&G Sector traffic problem in these areas has reduced to some extend but if the flyover and Package-B and Viaduct bridge in C is completed soon the traffic flow in Naharlagun to Banderdewa will be reduced drastically.
In Itanagar city the traffic management authority through start a humble beginning by creating mass awareness and others works but has to carry lots of homework but seems locking of the vehicle for hardly few second in Market area is not the only solution but the problems will reduced gradually if everyone join hands together and the highway authority also clear several bottleneck in the NH-415 like repairing and maintenance of several dilapidated and broken drainage system and covering thereof. It is eminent that the commuters and vehicle owners need to understand and know the problem being face by the general commuters and denizens who use the said road and passed through those areas need to be clear for traffic movement without any hindrances.
Several such place in Itanagar city where the commuters has to face every day are one at try junction of Mowb-II near the offices of PWD Chief Engineer, near PCCF Officer at P Sector, place near the offices of Directorate of Higher & Technical education and School education at ESS Sector, in front of NIrvachan Bhawan at F Sector, Parking near by the office of IMC at Gopur Tinali, parking of heavy vehicles all along the NH-415 in front of Arunachal Pradesh congress committee (APCC) Office at F Sector, inform of H Sector and several other places on NH-415.
The commuters allege that due to upcoming simultaneous poll the aspirants and workers and leaders including the VIPs of the political party specially the ruling BJP at Vivek Vihar has to face every day. It has now a day’s become a daily phenomena which the traffic management authority is undermining the problem being faced by the general commuters and vehicle owners.
It has been observed that the top leaders of the ruling party has to understand the pain being faced by the general people specially the pedestrian and normal road users due to wrong parking and occupying the half of the portion of road in front of the road near the BJP office is highly condemnable and condemn the poor management. The leaders of ruling party always claim “Sabka Saath sabka vikas, shabka viswas and sabka prayas” has to give a good lesson to the masses but instead of having their own security guard and even traffic police presence when the VIP and VVIP visit but the management is very poor and general people regret the poor traffic management in front of the ruling BJP party at Vivek VIhar.
However the general public lauded the improvement in traffic management in some part of city like clearing of parking from NH-415 in front of Heema Hospital and some other places in city. The general public also urge upon the state government specially the Home department for deployment of more traffic police and traffic warden in Itanagar capital complex and recruitment of more traffic personnel for better traffic management in capital complex and various district headquarters of state.
