Itanagar, May 25: With the second phase of covid-19 badly affecting people of all age groups, the District Administration today carried out three funerals at Cremation cum Burial Ground Chimpu.
EAC Datum Gadi informed that all of them were cremated today while following all the SOPs.
The cremation was of a 52, 98 and 60 year old, all of whom had succumbed to COVID-19 difficulties.
One of the deceased was an ITBP official and the funeral was carried out with due honour by the ITBP as per the norms of the Armed forces while maintaining all the SOPs.
The burial of the other two was also done as per the wish of the family members.
All the required formalities were carried out before the final funeral was carried out by the District Administration.
