Locals repaired damaged portion of road to make traffic movement near Karsingsa block point

NAHARLAGUN, JUNE 24 : The local residents and members of various organization and others of Karsingsa and Banderdewa area on Saturday has carried out social services at Karsingsa block point to make the road worthy for traffic movement.

A local resident inform that the due to damage of portion of road and culvert near Block point the traffic movement was halted, the Capital administration has also issued traffic advisory and road closure till the road is repaired. He said.

Due to road closure our childrens are not able to go to school, college, our people could not able to go to offices in Itanagar and Naharlagun and also could not go for any others works in capital and the life become miserable. He said.

We are never against the four lane construction and whole heartedly welcome the development but at the same time we want facilities and provision for our daily needs and work which have to be carried out. He said.

Today is third day and  no work has been carried out either by the executing agency or the highway administration and the general public and commuters of capital complex are suffering. He said.

Finding no option we the locals have unitedly made an effort and arranged earth movers including JCB etc and hundreds of locals form various parts of Karsingsa and Banderdewa had joined together and tried our best to fillup the damaged space and cut down extra space so that traffic movement could takes place without much obstruction and difficulty.  He said.

However the district administration traffic advisory is there and it is upon the commuters who use the said road at their own risk and we are not at all responsible for any untoward incident if takes place  The local added.  

It is to mention that the road is not worthy for heavy motor vehicle and heavy motor vehicle are not allowed so no heavy motor vehicle will be allowed to pass through the said block point and the administration can only allow though its next traffic advisory.
