ITANAGAR, JULY 18 : The work for restoration of Ganga-Jully road is in full progress so that we may be able to open it for vehicular traffic. Informed Capital Division B Assistant Engineer Neelam Mama.
Mama said that due to massive landslides on Saturday night the road between Ganga-Jully was completely blocked and tried to open but it was not possible due to darkness. Since morning two machines with loaders have been pressed into service and hope if weather continues to remain the same we may be able to open it for one way traffic. However the clearing of debris will continue till vehicular movement is fully resumed. AE added.
We are expecting that the movement of traffic may be able to resume by Monday morning or afternoon if there is favorable weather conditions. AE further said.
