Rijiju 2nd day of Jan Ashidwad Yatra reached to Siang belt

LIKABALI, Aug 20: The Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju reached here on Friday to continue the Jan Ashirwad Yatra. Addressing the party workers, he announced that the tender for carrying out the survey and investigation has been floated for the two mega road projects namely Frontier highway already done while the East west Industrial corridor soon.

“Once these two projects are completed it is going to change the face of the state. Especially the foothill areas will witness massive development,” said the Union Minister. Rijiju also said the inter-state boundary row with Assam will be resolved peacefully. “We will always try to protect our land along the inter-state boundary. Arunachal has never encroached into its neighbour and we will not allow others to take away our land too,” he said.

The Minister also shared his political journey on the occasion.

“I have worked hard to reach this position. I always draw inspiration from unconditional support of the people in my daily life. Will work for every Arunachalees irrespective of tribe and region,” said Law minister Rijiju.

He further acknowledged that he has been given a critical law department to look after. “I have been given responsibility for a very critical department. As a law minister I will try to ensure justice for every citizen of the country. Soon we are going to start a programme to provide free legal aid to poor and downtrodden citizens of the country in collaboration with state governments,” said Rijiju. He also said if development reaches every village of the country, justice will be served to the people.

Speaking on the occasion Nari Koyu MLA and advisor to education department Kento Rina expressed hope that the state of Arunachal will immensely benefit from appointment of Kiren Rijiju as cabinet minister at centre. “This is a great achievement and we are all proud of him. Hopefully this will massively benefit the state,” he said.

Likabali MLA Kardo Nyicyor in his address informed that several major development projects are being taken up in his constituency. He also expressed concern over disturbance created by Assam for construction of PMGSY road projects in Kangku circle. “We are trying to peacefully resolve,” he said. Further he claimed that under the leadership of CM Pema Khandu Arunachal will witness massive development in coming years,

Later Rijiju visited the Malinithan archaeological site and temple and prayed for peace and prosperity and wellbeing of all human beings and good health and spirit of people of state and country. .
