ITANAGAR, NOV 4 : One ITBP Jawan died on spot and two person critically injured in a road accident near Potin in Lower Subansiri district reportedly on Friday late night. Informed Yazali Police sources.
The Yazali Police station Officer Incharge Licha Taz informed this daily that “ the information of road accident has been reported boy someone on Saturday morning at around 7.30 AM, the police officer form Yazali police station and found that one person has died on spot while two has been critically injured”. Said OC Taz.
“As per information the accident might has happened last night at around 9 PM to 10 PM and three person were travelling in a Tata Nexon car bearing registration No- AS 07 V 7772 and they were travelling toward Ziro Via Kimin and might have meet with the fatal accident, the drivers of the ill fated vehicle has died on sport the as per information ”. After conducting all legal formalities the body has been handed over the family ember for conducting last rite. The deceased has been identified as Lakhi Nath Deori, 39 years and was working in ITBP as Head constable and was a resident of Krishnapur village. the two injured person who has been identified a Ripon Dutta and Mokesh Kumar Jai and all the three are form North Lakhimpur district of Assam. Both the critically injured person has been referred to North Lakhimpur after giving medical attention at Yazali CHC for further treatment He said.
Since the accident took place at around 8 KM from Potin on Kimin-Potin road. The vehicle fell down the road and it may be more than 200-300 mtrs below the roadside and due to which the damaged vehicle could not be retrieved as of now. He said.
The reason of accident could not be ascertained as of now but it can be said after the proper verification by the Motor vehicle expert and MVI. However further investigation is on and detail of accidents and other information can be available after proper verification and investigation. The Yazali PS OC Taz added.
