42nd annual college day of DNGC concluded. Raja ask students and youths not to waste the golden period

ITANAGAR, NOV 11 : The 42nd annual day celebration of Dera Natung government college (DNGC) here has been concluded. The Palin-Chambang MLA Balo Raja on the occasion has ask students community not to waste the golden period but to devote the precious time in study.

Addressing the valedictory function, MLA Raja who is also  Hydropower & Power Minister Advisor said that student life and period is a golden period so it is necessary that the golden period is not damaged by drugs, politic and unwanted elements and wasting time in social media criticizing someone without any reason and knowledge.  But we have to devote our precious time and energy to develop our mind and energy to become a good professional and serve the state and country.
In earlier time the education facility and infrastructure was not upto the mark and there was lack of transportation and communication facility but now everything is changing in passage of time so it is emphasized that these infrastructure are kept intact and it is not damaged or defaced by any section of society and students community to show anger on any issue. We should alwsy try to get best use of the infrastructure and facility created by department and government. Said Raja.


It is happy to know that the DNGC is following cutoff mark for admission of students from 40, 50 and 60 % by which some good and meritorious students can perform their degree here. Since the state  government has established colleges in almost all the district so it is necessary that our children’s those who has some problems may without any difficulty can continue their degree courses in the district itself. Terming education can change everything and requested the students and youth to concentrate in the study and carry higher education and serve the state in various capacity by becoming bureaucrats, technocrats and other professional posts. He said.
He urged upon the parents and teaching community to give what they can for mouding the students and youths to a good professional and fine gentleman to serve the state and mankind and humanity to better Arunachal Pradesh. Raja added.


He assured to provide a sets of washroom for boys and girls as submitted in the memorandum by College general secretary Ha Tatu.


Guest of honour, Arunachal Pradesh Bamboo Resource development agency (APBRDA) Chairman Tungri Effa said that merely going to college to get certificate is not sufficient but one should learn degree with a responsibility to become a fine. Gentleman to serve the society and nation as a whole.


Raising serious concern Effa said the drug menace is increasing more and is very serious so we should get away and remain away from such menace which has been affecting the health of the youths of state.

Principal Dr. MQ Khans in his address said that the programme from 8th to 10 were hectic, the college was formed in the name of four houses in name of dormer CMs which include Jarbom Gamlin  Dorjee Khandu  Kalikho Pul, Tomo Riba and literary, sports and games, fashion, cultural and other activities. He said.


The college is facing accommodation facility for conducting such programme and there is a need of multipurpose auditorium and for which we have submitted memorandum after memorandum and urged the chief guest to pursue the matter with the government for construction of a big hall with a capacity of 1000 persons. The prizes of several games and sports, cultural activities, literary activities and others activities were given away by the guests on the occasion.
