ITANAGAR, OCT 5 : A police personnel deputed as house guard at the resident of Sports & Youths affairs minister at Senki View road at Niti VIhar in city found dead. The Police constable Kabak Soni was working as house guard from 1st APPBn and was deputed there as house guard.
The Itanagar SP Rohit Rajbir Singh in a message has informed that “ The Ct. Kabak Soni, 1st APPBn deployed as sentry on duty at house of Minister Sports & Youth affairs Mama Natung at senki view found dead. He was found dead with blood stain and an empty cartridge was recovered by the police.
Inquest proceeding has been conducted by Niti Vihar police station while the body has been shifted to TRIHMS, Naharlagun for conducting post mortem. The family members has been informed of the incident. The Itanagar SP informed.
It would be a suspected case of suicide but it could only be ascertain after the report of the post mortem is received. However it is matter of investigation which is underway. The Itanagar SP added.
