ITANAGAR, MAY 12 : The Arunachal Artistes Forum (AAF) on Thursday has condoled the demise of Legendary singer and composer Late Talut Mize who passed away on Wednesday in a private hospital at New Delhi.
In a condolence message, the AAF Chairman Takam Dado Tallom said that “
We lost our icon Talut Mize, He was a true son of our state, his death has created a vacuum and it will take lots of time to fill”. He said.
Late Talut Mize S/o Lt. Tatan Mize and Lt. Oyam Mize, Village Mirku Dapi, PO/PS Pasighat, East Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh. He was a true son of our state. He was a radio artiste B HI rank. He left behind wife Smt. Indira Mize , two sons and a daughter.the condolence message said.
The Artistes fraternity of the state as well as Arunachalees is a sad moment for us. We feel the shock of him rolling down our tear drops . His death will create a hollowness in the lives of many Arunachalees . Everywhere we hear his songs or look at him . He will remain immortal through his contribution to the music world. The AAF Chairman said.
Lt. Shri Talut Mize, recorded his first song at AIR Dibrugarh in 1976-77, his Compositions are so soulful that just listening to them in his voice melts our heart, like “SOLUNG GE GADI” is the masterpiece of his creation and his all time hit no. of songs are “MOTANG AMONG LOKKE”,” YENAMEM YEYIN TOBANG” etc.
The artist fraternity will always remember him for his contribution to society through his voice and song. The AAF Chairman Tallom.
Earlier Union Minister Law & Justice Kiren Rijiju and Arunachal East MP Tapir Gao have also condoled the demise of Late Mize and pray for eternal peace of departed souls in heavenly abode.
