Arunachal Pradesh Child Rights Commission receives Governor’s endorsement for dedicated service

Itanagar, 10th January: The Chairperson of the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR), Ratan Anya, and her team were warmly received by Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik at Raj Bhavan. The Governor extended his congratulations to the Commission, expressing optimistic expectations for a successful tenure.

During the meeting, Governor Parnaik emphasized the crucial role of the Commission in reaching out to children across districts. He pledged to engage with all stakeholders during his district tours and encouraged the Commission to work diligently for the development, rehabilitation, and protection of children in need. Stressing the importance of fulfilling basic needs and ensuring overall protection, the Governor asserted that the Commission’s dedication is vital for fostering a prosperous society.

Recognizing children as the future of the nation, Governor Parnaik underscored the shared responsibility of guardians in safeguarding children’s safety, security, education, health, and overall well-being.

The Chairperson, accompanied by key team members, including Ngurang Achung, Honluk Lukham, Taba Champa, Miti Libang, and Michi Anju, expressed gratitude for the Governor’s support and affirmed the Commission’s commitment to fulfilling its mandate.
