Arunachal Pradesh Marks 5 Years of Healthcare Milestone with Ayushman Diwas 2023

Itanagar, September 23: The State Health Agency, Arunachal Pradesh Department of Health & Family Welfare, celebrated Ayushman Diwas 2023 at the State Banquet Hall in Itanagar to commemorate the successful completion of 5 years of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY). The event brought together government officials, healthcare professionals, and citizens to reflect on the achievements and advancements in healthcare accessibility within the state.

Health & Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang take part in celebration and graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, highlighting the significance of these healthcare initiatives in improving the health and lives of the people of Arunachal Pradesh. 

The health minister brief of the enhancement in health delivery system and strengthening in health institution ad technology in last five- seven years. He urge upon the general public to avail the befits of several centrally and state sponsored scheme in health sector so that several issues related to health and treatment issues are resolved and help during the treatment in hundreds of hospitals empanel across the state, region and country which include Sir Gangaram Hospital, CMC Vellore, NEGRIMS

Special Secretary, Health & Family Welfare,  Vivek H.P was also present as the Guest of Honor, underscoring the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure and services.

The Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY) have played a pivotal role in providing financial protection to vulnerable families and ensuring access to quality healthcare services. These initiatives have transformed the healthcare landscape in Arunachal Pradesh, making healthcare more accessible and affordable for the citizens.

Prizes, certificate and cheque were given away for the state level painting competition on the Ayusman Bharat scheme and its benefit
