DOIMUKH, NOV 5 : The Arunachal shooting team is all set to take part in the 2nd North East Olympic games-2022 to be held at Shillong from 9th to 16th November. Informed a release received from Arunachal Pradesh Rifle association (APRA).
APRA Vice President and team manager Jackey Teli Camdir inform that the team of 11 member out of which three are female are presently undergoing one month training and they will be participating the Olympic games representing the state. The one month training are being held in a camp at RGU indoor shooting range and the moral of the team members are high.
The shooters are under constant motivation of the officials and senior under the presidentship of Chukhu Apa, secretary general Chera Ngoya and Coach cum event coordinator Mamang Nikja. Said Camdir.
A total of 15 members contingent including three officials and 11 participants will leave for Shillong and final rehearsal are being done. We are hopeful that our team also take part and hope to win medals for our state. Added Camdir.
