ITANAGAR, SEPT 28 : The karatakas and team of Arunachal Pradesh has beg the highest medal tally in the recently conclude KIO All India cadet junior under-21 and senior team Kumite karate championship held at Dehradun in Uttrakhand from September 21-24.
Arunachal Pradesh Amateur Karate —do Association (APAKA) President Yarda Niki felicitate the player on the occasion after their arrival in state back. Addressing the players on the occasion in a city hotel the APAKA President Niki said that it is really a happy occasion as the team of player has beg a huge medal tally and is the highest in compare to any state of the country. Our state team emerges victorious and led in medal tally. He said.
“Arunachal Pradesh has created a history by making in the top 1 one list in entire India and securing highest Medals from 36 Team (states including union territories).Now Arunachal Pradesh is the championship in All India. On behalf of Team APAKA”. Said Niki.
“I would like to thanks and congratulations to President -APAKA and Coaches and entire APAKA team who made proud to the people of state by securing a huge medal” Said APAKA Generals secretary John Bagang.
Senior karataks and Arunachal Olympic association Treasurer Bulang Marik who was present on occasion and motivate the players and felicitated them. He assures all support to the players.
It is to mention that The team of APAKA has participated in the All India Cadets, Juniors and Team Kumite Karate Championship at Dehradun, Uttrakhand from 21St to 24th September 2023.The team of 26 male and 20 female and two official are being led by Coach Yarda Tadap and team Manager Yun respected the team.
The APAKA President Yarda Niki, Senior Vice President Doyak Singhi, Dr M aril Ete, General Secretary John Bagang among other senior member and others were present during the felicitation function.
As per medal tally the Arunachal Pradesh team beg 3 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze with total of 12 medals with rank 1 in medal tally. Maharashtra stood at rank 2nd, MP at 3rd, Haryana at 4th, Utter Pradesh at 5th while Tamil Nadu stand at 6th and Bihar SKA stand at 7th respectively.
