ITANAGAR, Jan 11: The National president Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), J P Nadda on Thursday alleged Congress party of playing politics instead of undertaking overall development for the North-eastern states as a whole.
Gracing the executive meeting of BJP here at Dorjee Khandu Convention (DKC) hall, Nadda said United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government has not done anything for the state of Arunachal Pradesh other than playing divide & rule and vote bank policies.
They have ruled the nation for many years but did not meet up the expectation of poor people, thus they with full majority elected the BJP government in the country, he added.
Terming ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ as ‘Bharat Todo & Anyay Yatra’, he suggested the people to ask for an apology from the congress party for misleading the people of North-eastern states for several years.
“Congress never thought beyond politics but BJP thought for the well-being of the nation with the mantra of ‘Nation first, Party second and self last’,” said Nadda. While marching ahead fast with responsibility BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking along all the sections of the people, he added.
Stating that many senior leaders of congress are under the radar of Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for corruption charges, he said, unlike congress leaders who indulge in corruption, BJP leaders are working tirelessly for the overall developmental activities of the nation.
Informing, with the initiative of PM, in terms of Below Poverty Line (BPL) more than 13 lakh population of India has become Above Below Poverty Line (ABPL), crores of people have already availed the facilities under Ayushman Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Awaz Yojna etc, Nadda also appealed to the workers of the BJP to work for the strengthening, development of the party and to bring full majority in the forthcoming general 2024 in the state.
Nadda also said that we have a big responsibilities to do the undo things for many years which was ignored by the congress. Congress and UPA Govt did the politics with the people of this country, divide and rule, votes and politics. He highlighted Congress and various other political party are doing for their dynastic politics. INDIA alliance party is nothing but to promote pariwarik or dynasty politics.
Nadda said that Rahul Gandhi and congress party should apologized from the people of India on various issue which include JNU issue and others. While appreciating PM Modi, he said that PM Modi visited more than 60 times and more than 500 Union Ministers visited North East. The fifty years pending militants issues has been solved for peace in North Eastern state for all round development in NE.
BJP State President Biyuram Wahge said that karyakartas are very happy on the joining JP Nadda in the meeting which will definitely boost up the moral of the karyakartas. Arunachal Pradesh takes so many years to reached this position, State BJP is very strong enough now, he highlighted in brief journey of 34 years BJP in Arunachal Pradesh and its struggled by karyakartas and seven years developmental activities initiated under the BJP Govt. in the state. He stated that state has achieved lots of developmental in the state because of BJP Govt at the centre and in the state. While highlighted various activities carry out by the party, said that Mann Ki Baat programme has achieved 2nd position in the country and Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan programme also do the best. He said that party has organanized MLAs, ZPM, GPC and Alpkalin vistarak training in the state and party is strengthen day by day. He said that BJP is only party which can served the state in better way. State has about 14 lakh population and 4 lakh primary membership is great achievement for the party and people are joining BJP reposing faith in BJP leadership. He said that BJP will form the Govt. With full majority.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu in his address said that the state executive meeting is historic as JP Nadda is attended the meeting which will boost up the moral of the party workers. He said that North East has change in all front in term of developmental activities after the BJP came in the power. He said that 1800 kms Trans Arunachal Highway, Railway connectivity, Air connectivity also improved and some are in full swing. He said that Donyi Polo Airport has completed within three years and fully functional now. BJP is only party to fulfil the aspiration of the people of the state. Khandu appreciated and congratulated State President BiyuramWahge and Ananta narayan Mishra for initiated Vikshit Bharat Yatra Programme, sangkalpYatra programme in the state. He urged party karyakartas to carry forward all the developmental intiatives by the state and central govt at the grass root level.
The extended State Executive meeting held at D.K Convention hall, Itanagar on 11th January 2024 which was attended by National President J.P Nadda, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, state President Biyuram Wahge, union Minister for Earth Sciences Kiren Rijiju, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, MP Nabam Rebia, Tapir Gao, BJP National secretary Rituraj Sinha, National spokesperson and Cordinator (NE) Dr.Sambit Patra, Organisation secretary Ananta Narayan Mishra, Ministers, MLAs, SOB, Core Group Members, Morchas, District Presidents, Mandal Presidents, Chairman and Vice-chairman of verious department of the state Govt, ZPMs, and karyakartas.
BJP general secretary and Namsai MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom general secretary Tadar Niglar and Nalong Mize State General Secretary also spokes on the occasion.
Nadda also meet and discussed with the Core Group members, State Office Bearer, Morcha heads after the State Executive meeting at state guest house.
Earlier Nadda was given warm reception at at Donyi Polo Airport, Hollongi by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, BJP President Biyuram Wahge and his team colleague. He was escorted by hundreds of bikers of BJYM and others from Hollongi to DK Convention centre, IG Park in city where he attended the extended state executive body meeting before he leaves Itanagar for New Delhi by charter plane.
