ITANAGAR, MARCH 13 : The Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha on Monday March 13 has celebrated the international women’s day in a befitting manner with lots of joy and happiness here at BJP headquarter here at Vivek VIhar in the city.
Advisor to Chief Minister and former Minister Dr. Tangor Tapak attended the function as chief guest while Hayuliang MLA and WCD Minister advisor Dasanglu Pul was guest of honor, Likang MLA Jummum Ete Deori, Khonsa MLA Chakat Aboh, Lumla MLA Tsering lhamu attended the occasion as special guest and share their experience and spikes on women empowerment and wellbeing of family, community and society and development of state and country.
Chief guest speaks various issues relating to women in parliament and assembly, women empowerment, strengthening of party at grassroots and assembly election in state and women representation in state assembly scene inspection and role of women in state development.
BJP Mahila Morcha state president Higio Aruni gave away the presidential address and motivated the party karyakartas and workers to remain united and become a role model for family and work for the unity, integrity and development of area, village and district and state as a whole.
BJP Vice President and Mahila Morcha Incharge Yalam Taga Borang, former Minister Karya Bagang, IMC Corporator Yukar Yaro, Techi Mema, Tai Yakia, Tadar Hangi, Yagam Jamoh, former Mahila President P Jamoh takes part in the celebration and share their thoughts, experiences and views on women empowerment and use of digital media and social media and gender equality.
This year the theme of celebration was ‘ digital innovation and technology for gender equality’.
Sixty women’s achievers from various parts of state were given away with Sushma swaraj award by the dignetories.
