Itanagar, Aug 24: Capital police arrested robbers and recovered stolen mobile phones from them.
Capital police informed in a release, that on 26-07-2022 written information received at Itanagar Police Station, from a complainant to the effect that she had been robbed by two unknown persons who approached her at Abo Tani Colony, Itanagar at around 1900 hours on 25-07-2022. The case registered under section 392/34 IPC.
Subsequently, a team led by SDPO Itanagar K. Sikom and Insp Ongsa Ronrang managed to arrest one Mr. Nabam Harming from Itanagar after electronic and human surveillance. The release said.
Upon further investigation, one prime accused Taba Tuki was arrested from Jote Village in Bajijan Circle in wee hours on 21/08/2022. The mobile phone which was robbed from the informant has been recovered. Further investigation is in progress to identify any other associates. The release informed.
