CB-AASSATA President Advocates for Co-Curricular Activities to Foster Holistic Student Growth

ITANAGAR, NOV 9: The President of CB-AASSATA, Techi Bollo, urged school authorities to prioritize co-curricular activities, including games and sports, for a well-rounded development of students. Speaking at the Sports Meet kick-off ceremony at Government Secondary School, Police Colony, Bollo emphasized the positive impact of such activities on students’ mental and physical well-being.

Bollo commended the school for its diverse programs encompassing games, sports, literary, and cultural activities. He highlighted that fostering a strong foundation through these initiatives enables students to build both mental resilience and physical fitness. The President expressed optimism that such efforts contribute to shaping individuals who can excel in various fields, whether it be sports or academics.

Acknowledging the need for ongoing improvements in the education system, Bollo praised the current government’s commitment under Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Education Minister Taba Tedir. He expressed hope that the efforts would result in significant advancements, particularly in the CBSE results.

The Sports Meet, inaugurated on Thursday, November 9th, is scheduled to conclude on November 14th, coinciding with Children’s Day. Dignitaries from ATA and IMC Corporater will preside over the prize distribution ceremony. Headmistress Gongam Ete, Organising Chairman Vikas M Richo, and other esteemed guests addressed the function.

The event witnessed the presence of AASSATA Vice President Likha Pekhi, Capital Unit President Kara Katung, and Kamle District Unit President Tarin Maga, among other dignitaries, during the kick-off ceremony.
