ITANAGAR, MAY 26 ; The district administration on Wednesday has issued a travel advisory for the commuters to avoid traveling in night hours on Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) between Possa-Potin.
In an advisory, the Yazali Circle officer Tashi Wangchhu Thongdok said that due to incessant rainfall has triggered a series of landslides in different locations between Possa-Potin under Yazali circle and the highway is also frequently disrupted. The order said.
There is likelihood of more landslides in case of heavy rainfall in the area which may risk and affect travelling through this route. the order said.
To avoid the loss of life and property and to prevent public safety, it is advised to all the commuters to avoid travelling through the said route during rainy days unless urgent. It is further advised to avoid travelling after 6 PM through the said route. the Yazali CO added.
