Education Minister launched 300 centers for “ Early child care education centre ”  (ECCE) across the state.

NAHARLAGUN, SEPT 22 : The education and cultural affairs Minister Taba Tedir on Thursday launched “ Early child care education centre” for strengthening of education system among the small childrens from aged 3years to 6 years across the state.

Addressing the function on the occasion of launching ceremony, Tedir said “ 1st school to be launched is at Emchi while 2nd one is at Naharlagun, there would be 5 school each in each assembly constituency of state and in first year we shall be opening around 300 such school, followed by another 300 schools and if necessary the remaining schools will be supported with this system of education among the small children to enhance their foundational course” said Tedir.

The ECCE is considered national policy in the new education policy to promote. development and active learning capacity of all children below 6 years of age. All such centers will be available with power and water supply, with facility of entertainment and communication and learning materials, television with electronic equipments and music facility so that our children can learn and understand better before attending to regular school and with this the foundation of the education system will be strengthened. Said Education Minister Tedir.

In first instance 600 teachers are being prepared with special trainings to deal with small children who are of early childhood and early education even before the foundation. In case these teachers want transfer they have to select ECCE schools only. He said.

Since in old education system there was no clear-cut provision of such centers but im new education policy the provision of pre-primary and early child care and education will strengthened the education scenario and education system and also helps the minds of childerns with more knowledge.  We will see that the system work smoothly and its upto the management committee supported with the parents, local elected leaders who need to visit such schools twice a month and disuses with the teaching faulty and management committee for progress and development. Tedir added.

Itanagar local MLA Techi Kaso and thanks the state government for providing five nos of ECCE in capital complex and said that more than 15 % of population of state are residing gin and around capital complex and accordingly the students ration is also very high and the is need of more than 15 such schools and urged upon the education minister to consider the appeal of the people capital complex. 

Several KG school in capital complex are also functioning for decades in capital complex and their salary are also very meager and requested the minister to take care and consider their genuine problems. Said Kaso.

Since the condition of several schools in capital complex are in bad shape and functioning in pathetic condition and immediate construction of permanent structure is needed as modern system and also being in capital complex and appeal the education minister and state government to propose for construction of RCC multistoried building.

IMC Mayor Tame Phasang who was special guest on the occasion also address the gathering and motivated the general public to take care of the education institution which is termed as temple of learning and nation building for human resources. He ask the school management committee and local leader to take care of the schools and public properly for long lasting and public utility. 

Education Commissioner Padmini Singla also address the gathering and assured to take up the issue of shortage of any subject teacher.

Special project director Pige Ligu, Dy SPD, IMC Corporater Tarh Achak, Capital DDSE ST Zara, School Headmaster Tarh Yaku and other senior officers of education department and local leaders of the area were present on the occasion.
