ITANAGAR, MARCH 28 : Four government quarter has been devoured in a devastating fire mishap at C-I sector in city. All the belongings and household materials turned into ash.
Itanagar Fire brigade Station officer Horda Lona informed that the smoke were detected in the sky form the station at around 8.40 AM this morning and accordingly a fire call was also received at 8.43 and immediately the fire tender rushed to the spot at 8.46 at C-I sector and control the fire from entering into the residential area of the colony. Four nos of government quarter has been burned down in the mishap. All the personal, household and other food items has been completely gutted and turned into ash. Lona said.
It is suspected that the fire has been generated from an OBT house but yet to confirmed, the cause of fire is still not known and matter is under investigation. Said station officer Horda Lona.
It took around more than two hours for complete operation and three fire tenders were used in the incident. Lona added.
He thanks the local support and appeal for support and cooperation during such incident to avoid complicacy and more destruction and also requested to park the vehicle for safe passage for emergency vehicles during the time of disaster.
Few gas cylinder also blast in the incident which occupied more area in the gulp several government and private houses in the devastating fire mishap.
