ITANAGAR, MAY 12 ; The City based multi specialty Heema Hospital celebrated the international nurses day in a befitting manner with several programmes which include cultural and other activities.
The Arunachal Press Club (APC) Assistant general secretary (AGS) Manoj Singh attended the function as chief guest and motivated the nurses community to serve humanity with dedication and sincerity and devotion to win the heart of society as a mother, sister and most important profession of nurses.
He emphasizes the nurses to remain humble all the time during the care toward the patient and not maintain ego during the service of humanity and curing the wound and injury.
Heema Hospital CMD Dr. Byabang Rana lauded the nurses community in their endeavour and encouraged them to remain a good nurse, a good mother, a good sister and a good human being to serve the society and humanity.
Dr. Rana said that there are acute shortage of nurses in state and as per patient ratio the state government need to trained more nurses and accordingly employ them in all the required PHC, CHC and hospital so that they can get proper employment and without any problem, they can serve the society. he also appeal the nurses community to maintain their healthy body and sound mind so that they did not face any depression and carry their profession in most professional way wherever they serve. Dr. Rana added.
Managing Director Dr. Byabang Heema, Medical superintendent Dr. Kessang W Thongdok, Dr.Paya Liya. Dy Medical Superintendent, Gynecologist Dr. Salim Ahmed, Dr. G Zirdo (Anesthesia) among other senior medical officers, officials and staff and nurses were present on the occasion.
The Florence Nightingale a great social reformer and founder of modern nursing was remembered on the occasion for the contribution. Prizes were given away to several winners of literary, sporting and other competition held on the occasion.
