IDCF Observation of RPM cum awareness & Counseling of refusals of covid-19 vaccination

ITANAGAR, SEPT 15 : DC Kamle Adong Pertin launched Intensified Diarrhea control Fortnight (IDCF),Observation of Rashtriya Poshan Maah (RPM)cum awareness & Counseling of refusals of covid-19 vaccination and Routine Immunizations was held at Deed-Rakhe village under Kamporijo circle of Kamle on Thursday.

DRCHO, Dr Kapu Sopin highlighted the aim and objectives of the programme and he gave awareness on Intensified Diarrhea Control Fortnight (IDCF). He also urged the PRI leaders to motivate parents of newborns on timely routine immunization and anti natal checkup for pregnant mothers and to avail benefits provided by the Govt.

CDPO Gedam Don talked about the Rashtriya Poshan Maah, giving emphasis on malnourished children and its causes, preventive measures and directed the Anganawadi workers to actively monitor malnourished child and gave awareness on balance diet and importance of exclusive breastfeeding.

ZPM Kamporijo has warned the encroachers of the schools and Anganwadi centres compound to evict the designated compound while requesting the administration to take necessary action against the same to avoid obstruction of future developments and gave assurance of 100% covid vaccination in Deed-Rakhe village.

DMO Kamle while briefing on the event has highlighted the necessary medical programmes conducted by his dept. for the district and the intensive covid vaccination drive carried out by his team. He highlighted the maximum covid vaccination refusal cases coming from the Deed-Rakhe area and urged the PRI leaders to cooperate the same.

DC Kamle strongly urged the villagers to get covid vaccination to make the covid vaccination drive in the district successful to contain the virus as the maximum refusal cases are reported from the region which posses a threat for future covid-19 wave in the area. He also directed all the GBs to motivate the villagers to get vaccinated and to avail the health benefits provided by health dept. later he also lead  pledge for No Tobacco use with all members present in programme and discourage to use tobacco products to avoid cancer and say no to drugs specially for youths. 

DC Kamle Adong Pertin also visited the newly upgraded Health & wellness Centre Kamporijo and formally opened for fully functional Health & Wellness Centre-Sub Centre. 

Kamporijo-1 ZPM  Rakhe Taro, DMO Kamle Dr Nani Rika,CDPO-cum incharge ADC Gepen Gedam Don, CO Kamporijo Nani Mamung, DRCHO cum DANO-HWC Dr Kapu Sopin, DANO Kamle Dr. Yader kabak ,MO I/c PHC Boasimla DrTasso Opo, other medical staffs, ASHA’s/Anganwadi workers ,PRI leaders, GBs and villagers of the area among others were present.
