Hyderabad: The Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) orchestrated a pivotal industry meet, a commendable step toward augmenting placement opportunities for the trained youth of Arunachal Pradesh. This significant event unfolded under the aegis of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDUGKY), a placement-linked skill development program catering to rural youth.
Ms. Nabam Ompi, the Program Manager of ArSRLM, orchestrated and coordinated this impactful program, held at Hyderabad on the 23rd of November, 2023. Ruzing Bellai, the Chief Operating Officer (Skills) of ArSRLM, chaired the meeting, where CTSA NABCONS Representative Alka Kumari Singh served as a resource person. The gathering witnessed active participation from 40 attendees.
The Technical Support Agency of ArSRLM, Ernst & Young LLP, played a crucial role by facilitating connections with 15 companies actively involved in collaborating and recruiting skilled youth. Industry giants such as Paytm, Innov Source, Hotel AnmolsInn, Employability Bridge, Portea Medical, C-DAC, Barbeque Nation Hospitality Limited, Creamstone, Ecom Express, HCAH, MRF, Sutherland, Kapston, Godrej, and Avaan Academy actively engaged with the skilled youth.
In a notable stride towards global placement opportunities, ArSRLM invited Alpha Man Power Private Ltd for a Non-Financial MoU, coordinated by Ms. Nabam Ompi. This led to a strategic partnership, as ArSRLM signed a non-financial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alpha Manpower Consultancy LLP, opening doors for foreign placements.
Another significant collaboration emerged as ArSRLM inked a non-financial MoU with Stanworth, focusing on creating placement avenues in the Tourism & Hospitality sector. This partnership is poised to provide a platform for the youth of Arunachal Pradesh to excel in dynamic and burgeoning industries.
Government officials from Arunachal Pradesh also engaged in discussions with Dolphin Hotels Pvt. Ltd., located in Ramoji Film City, exploring avenues to provide placement opportunities for rural youths. This initiative underscores the commitment of the government to empower the youth by connecting them with diverse employment prospects.
The Industry Meet 2023 acted as a catalyst for fortifying the bridge between skilled rural youth and corporate entities, fostering collaboration and creating sustainable livelihood avenues. The government of Arunachal Pradesh remains unwavering in its dedication to the holistic development of its youth, ensuring they find meaningful employment opportunities and contribute to the socio-economic growth of the region.
