NAHARLAGUN, JUNE 8 : An IRBn personnel succumbed to death in an attempt to kill himself with his service revolver in Naharlagun on 4 June.
As per reports, an IRBn personnel Pijush Debnath, 29 years son of Praksh Debnath of Dimapur, Nagaland of 4th IRBn attached with ASP Yupia committed suicide by shooting himself by his 9 mm service pistol reportedly on June 4 morning and passed away on Tuesday afternoons June 7 at Naharlagun.
Naharlagun PS Incharge Anurag Devidi, IPS inform that the IRBn personnel’s committed suicide at his rented apartment at A Sector model village, Naharlagun on June 4th.
As per information, the personnel’s take such a big decision and committed suicide by shooting himself by his 9 MM service pistol in his chin to nose and passed away on Tuesday afternoon and the last rite has been performed. A case of unnatural death has been registered at Naharlagun police station and investigation has been launched.
The sources informed that the legal formalities had been done and after conducting the PM the body was handed over to the family members for conducting the last rite which was performed on Tuesday evening. The sources said.
The police sources inform that there may be family problems and especially with the wife and the reason is yet to be confirmed. However a case has been registered and investigation has been launched.
