NERLDC team met advisor to Power & Hydropower minister Balo Raja

A team of North Eastern Regional Despatch Centre (NERLDC), Shillong headed by its Executive Director Nabarun Roy accompanied by Samar Chandra Dey, Sr. General Manager and Paominla Doungel, Engineer today called on the Office of Advisor (Power & Hydropower) to Minister (Power & Hydropower) Balo Raja here at the APEDA Complex, Itanagar.  

The visiting team apprised the Advisor (Power & Hydropower) about the development of Arunachal Pradesh Grid System  in detail especially on the scenario on completion and energisation of the 132 KV & 33 KV grid systems being developed under the Comprehensive Schemes in the State, which are on various advance stages of completion.  

The NERLDC officials also highlighted the importance of grid disciplines towards ensuring the healthiness of the entire grid system of the country among other important issues related to the system.

 Later on, the team also called on the Secretary(Power) Ajay Kumar Bisht, IAS and discussed the power system scenario of the State/NER, its difficulties and way forward.

 The meetings were attended by G. Lingi, CE(Transmission), N. Perme, SE(SO&PSC) and Sange Phuntso, EE(SLDC) from the State Power Department’s side.
