Nyishi Elite Society Kamle unit joins forces for ‘Clean Kamle Green Kamle’ campaign

Raga, Jan 13: The Nyishi Elite Society’s Kamle district unit spearheaded a mass social service drive in collaboration with the district administration, PRI leaders, students, and the public of Raga town. The cleanliness drive, themed ‘Clean Kamle Green Kamle,’ was launched as part of the nationwide ‘Swachhta Hi Seva Drive’ on Saturday.

The Deputy Commissioner of Kamle, Shasank Mani Tripathi IAS, inaugurated the drive at various public places in Raga township, including offices, marketplaces, and schools. The initiative aims to raise public awareness about sanitation and foster a cleaner environment.

Dr. Kapu Sopin, Chairman of NES Kamle unit, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of the cleanliness drive. He urged the public to cease hunting and poaching practices, promote plantation drives, and requested the Deputy Commissioner to designate the former general ground of Raga as a market shed and parking area for the welfare of the township.

DC Kamle, Shasankh Mani Tripathi IAS, stressed the significance of sustainable development and nature conservation. He highlighted the success of the Jal Jeevan mission scheme in the district, promising year-round water supply. The Deputy Commissioner called for the voluntary evacuation of encroached public spaces, warning of imminent legal action and assured proper demarcation of public places in the upcoming eviction drive.
